Carolina Beach

Carolina Beach is one of the most popular Wilmington Beach attractions, and it’s not hard to see why. This beach town is known for its fun-loving atmosphere with tons of incredible entertainment. We recommend visiting the vintage boardwalk for that quintessential seaside experience. Of course, there are plenty of colorful places to grab a bite and a souvenir, but don’t miss out on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park or fireworks during the holiday season.

Kure Beach

Another of our favorite Wilmington, NC beaches is Kure Beach, which is a laid back natural playground that’s perfect for nature lovers. Many visitors love lounging on the white sands or swimming in the waves, but that’s not all that this beach town has to offer. Family-friendly events like Ocean Front Park and the North Carolina Aquarium are great places to spend an afternoon. You can also check out options like Kure Beach Fishing Pier, one of the oldest in the Atlantic, or the Civil War exhibit at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site. In April, you can even attend the Kure Beach Street Festival! This free event features more than 35 vendors, live music and magic, dancing, and children’s entertainment. There’ll be face painting and crafts during the day, numerous food options, and more. Enjoy all this and more while taking in beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Wrightsville Beach

If you love working up a sweat, Wrightsville Beach is the perfect spot to get active among the gorgeous scenery. The crystal blue waters are mesmerizing to any surfer and paddleboarder, so be sure to bring your gear when you stop by!
